A Party Rock Anthem induced setback

Well if LFMAO can interpolate Rick Ross’s “Hustlin’” for their hit track then I guess I can interpolate LMFAO’s lyrics to “Everyday I’m hobblin’” – seeing as it was their hit track that has put my recovery back by another week or so…

On Saturday night I went to a great Christmas party at a friend’s house. Lots of mulled wine and not enough mince pies meant that by the time the music cranked up I was already on the way, and by the time LFMAO’s famous song “Party Rock Anthem” came on I was not in a place to adequately assess the likelihood of re-injury to my calf when subjected to excessive dance moves. About 4 steps into my first shuffle, ‘pop’ went the calf and I was forced to the sofa sidelines to watch the proceedings while I self-administered wine painkillers.

For those who don’t know WTH I’m talking about here’s the link to the LMFAO song that “left me hobblin’, hobblin’…

Happy running everyone!
