Inspire me Wednesday #10

“Real supermen don’t leap over buildings in a single bound. They take small determined steps, consistently over time”

I’ll make sure to think of this quote as I’m taking my 30,000+ small determined steps during the marathon on Sunday…

Who else is racing this weekend?

Happy running everyone!

About getgoing-getrunning

Hi, I’m Bernie and I’m a just guy who writes about the things which get me going and get me running, even though my running is never going to result in me standing on a podium!

  1. I’ll be a continent away in the old American industrial city of Lowell running my marathon. I actually started to think about packing tonight. My race in less than an hour from my home so for me packing will be a lot easier then for you.

    • Yes, racing ‘away’ does add another dimension to prep for the race. However, being a bit anal about these things I lay my running stuff out on the bed from head to toe, then pack it straight into my carry-on case. That way I know that if I get there, my racing kit gets there – and there’s no chance of the airline losing the case.
All the best for your race!
